This role requires a strong, hands-on-floor presence , partnering directly with employees and managers to deliver high-impact HR support. You’ll be a key extension of our Corporate HR team, helping to foster positive employee relations, drive engagement initiatives, and ensure consistent HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Support

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with employees, supervisors, and external partners.
  • Participate in the development of HR goals, policies, procedures, and engagement strategies.
  • Recommend improvements in HR practices that support continuous improvement and company culture.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Serve as a visible HR presence on the production floor, providing day-to-day support and interpreting policies.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and help resolve employee concerns with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support investigations related to employee complaints or workplace issues.
  • Partner with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and temporary roles.
  • Post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support hiring managers.
  • Facilitate a smooth and welcoming onboarding process, including orientation and training coordination.

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Assist in planning and executing employee events, announcements, and recognition programs.
  • Help promote an inclusive, high-energy, and safety-conscious workplace culture.

Benefits & Wellness Administration

  • Support annual open enrollment and assist employees with benefit-related questions.
  • Administer and track disability and workers’ compensation claims.

HRIS & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Generate HR reports and data analytics to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive HR information.

Training & Development

  • Participate in new hire orientation and assist in promoting training initiatives.
  • Foster positive attitudes toward organizational objectives and professional development.

General HR Support .

  • Prepare and submit HR forms, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Support special projects and complete other HR tasks as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: An Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; a bachelor’s degree or certification in HR or Benefits Management is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in benefits administration and employee benefits management.
  • Familiarity with insurance programs and knowledge of FMLA and COBRA regulations.
  • Previous experience with HRIS and benefit administration software.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in HR policy development and implementation.
  • Prior experience in recruitment and onboarding.
