Job Title: Jira Administrator Atlassian Cloud & ITSM

Location: Remote, Work Location With-in the United States

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain Jira Software and Jira ITSM projects in Atlassian Cloud.
• Develop and optimize JQL queries, workflows, automations, and permissions to support business operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable Jira solutions.
• Utilize Jira REST APIs and scripting (HTML/JavaScript) for customizations and integrations.
• Configure and manage key plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, Email This Issue, and Extension for Jira Service Desk.
• Provide clear, well-structured documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Jira administration and development, with a focus on Jira Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in JQL and hands-on experience configuring Jira ITSM.
• Preferred experience with Jira on-premise to Cloud migration, including workflows and data.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Access and basic understanding of Active Directory and access controls.
• Experience with Jira REST APIs, HTML, and JavaScript for custom development and integrations.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to document technical processes clearly and engage effectively with stakeholders.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience managing Jira Software and ITSM projects, including workflows, permissions, and automations.
• Expert-level proficiency in JQL for building complex queries.
• Experience using Jira REST APIs and scripting languages for custom integrations and enhancements.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Hands-on experience with Jira plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, and Email This Issue.
