Salary: $32 - $40 per hour A bit about us: My client is a leading manufacturing company and is looking to add a Mold Maker to their team. The Mold Maker is responsible for ensuring injection molds are maintained in optimal working condition through regular repair and upkeep. Why join us? Compensation Up To $40/hr + OT Job Details Essential Functions: Disassemble mold tooling for cleaning, maintenance, and repair. Construct, modify, and adapt molds for various operations including plastic injection molding, die casting, metal stamping, and other molding processes. Perform final fitting and assembly of purchased or repaired mold components to ensure proper function. Work from blueprints, sketches, and general instructions to inspect, repair, and assemble molds, tools, and mechanical equipment. Use various measuring and gauging tools to inspect components before, during, and after molding operations. Set up equipment according to mold requirements, material specifications, and tolerance levels. Execute production runs and conduct quality control testing to ensure molds are ready for the production cycle. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, products, and industry best practices. Collaborate with machinists to support the injection molding process and equipment operation. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong understanding of machinery and mold creation techniques.
