Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to collaborate closely with the customers engineering team on a service designed to orchestrate feature branch deployments for feature development. This service is tightly integrated with an internal CI/CD system and enables automatic deployment of work-in-progress features to unique preview links.

The new phase of the project focuses on extending this service to support web application deployments within a Kubernetes environment. You will work directly with a customer engineer, gathering requirements and building solutions tailored for internal developers and QE engineers.

Essential functions

1. Design, develop, and enhance Python-based services to automate feature branch deployments.
2. Integrate solutions with internal CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments.
3. Collaborate closely with customer engineers to collect requirements and deliver solutions.
4. Build and maintain web services, ensuring seamless interaction with relational databases.
5. Contribute to improving deployment workflows for internal teams and developers.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience (Golang is a plus).
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (k8s) .
• Experience in implementing web services and working with relational databases .
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ability to overlap 23 hours with the customers team (California time zone).

Would be a plus

• UI development experience is a plus.
