Transportation Manager – Columbus, OH | On-Site

We’re partnering with a national transportation provider to find a seasoned Transportation Manager to lead a high-profile dedicated account based out of Columbus, OH .

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee day-to-day operations for a complex, 24/7 dedicated account
• Lead, develop, and support front-line operations leaders responsible for dispatch, load planning, routing, and driver performance
• Act as the primary liaison for your customer counterpart, ensuring exceptional service, proactive communication, and performance transparency
• Monitor DOT compliance, safety initiatives, driver coaching, preventative maintenance schedules, and payroll accuracy
• Track KPIs across safety, service, cost, and utilization—and identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce inefficiencies
• Contribute to workforce planning, backhaul execution, and corrective action when needed

Schedule & Compensation:

• On-site Monday–Friday
• 24/7 on-call rotation (critical due to the nature of the account)
• Base salary + bonus opportunity
• Relocation assistance available for the right candidate

You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

• 7–10+ years of leadership experience in asset-based transportation
• Strong dispatch, load planning, and DOT compliance background
• Ability to lead and coach a team of front-line leaders across shifts
• Comfort managing through complexity—balancing daily execution with long-term process improvements
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), routing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and customer service orientation
