Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a busy operating room performing gender-affirming, reconstructive, and microvascular procedures. Cases include breast reconstructive surgeries (DIEP flaps), head and neck reconstruction, major flaps, micro hand surgeries, plastics, ENT, neurosurgery, orthopedic total joints, and urology. The technologist will provide surgical scrub assistance, maintain sterile fields, manage instrumentation, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficiency and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields.
• Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
• Handle and account for instruments, supplies, and specimens.
• Adhere to aseptic, sharps, and laser safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure procedural success.
• Support a wide range of specialties including plastics, ENT, neuro, ortho, and urology. Ax

Eligibility & Requirements Requirement Details License Valid state license at submission – required Certifications NBSTSA CST certification; BLS (AHA) Experience Minimum 3 years OR scrub tech experience; microvascular & reconstructive experience preferred Skills Proficiency in aseptic technique, equipment documentation, specimen handling, laser safety, and universal protocol Charting System Epic experience preferred Compliance Must meet all facility compliance requirements including background check, health screenings, and drug screen Travel Requirement Minimum 50 miles; locals accepted at local rate Floating May float to other locations if home unit census is low RTO Policy Only one holiday off approved during contract Orientation Policy 16 hours non-billable, modules completed during orientation First-Time Travelers Accepted if meeting all requirements Vaccine Requirements COVID-19 & Flu vaccine requirements unknown at posting #HCRR
