Job Description

Job Title: Network Engineer (Cisco, DMVPN, IPSec, OSPF/BGP, Wireshark)

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Qualification:

Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting LAN networking equipment in large-scale environments with 1,000+ remote endpoints, including switches, routers/firewalls, and VPN devices. Proficient in using protocol analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark) to perform detailed network data capture and analysis.
Strong analytical and technical understanding of network protocols and technologies such as DMVPN, IPsec, OSPF, and BGP.
Extensive experience working with Cisco hardware and Cisco IOS in complex TCP/IP environments, including routing, NAT/port forwarding, and VPN configuration and management.
Proficient in supporting and configuring wireless networking equipment from vendors including Cisco, Ubiquiti, and Aruba.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business users to:
- Gather and analyze business requirements and deliver corresponding technical solutions
- Operate effectively as part of a cross-functional team including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Adapt to shifting priorities in dynamic environments
- Bridge communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity
